James and Ashley both grew up in Conroe and graduated from Conroe High School before going to college at Texas A&M University. Following graduation from A&M, they were married and moved to San Antonio for James to attend dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

James graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors and was in the top 10% of his class and then chose to further his education in the specialty of Prosthodontics, which is advanced training in the restoration and replacement of teeth.

Following completion of a three year residency program, James and Ashley decided to move back home to be near their family. They moved to Montgomery to be near Lake Conroe because they enjoy boating, water skiing and wake boarding. He also enjoys visiting the mountains to ski, snowboard, and likes to take his motorcycle off roading. Ashley taught in Montgomery ISD for many years, but has recently retired. Laurel is currently attending Montgomery High School, and Caleb is attending Blinn.

James has practiced dentistry in Montgomery County since moving back home in 2000. He first established a practice in The Woodlands in 2000 that was limited to Prosthodontics and was part time faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston Dental Branch teaching in the departments of prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.  He taught part time at the dental school from 2000-2010 and in 2011 he moved his practice back to Conroe. In 2016 Dr. Lutonsky has opened his new office at 1007 Longmire Road in Conroe. He has expanded his practice to include all aspects of restorative dentistry in order to best serve his patients and their families.

Dr. Lutonsky has extensive knowledge and training in cosmetic and implant dentistry and believes that a beautiful smile is a healthy, natural looking smile. He takes great pride in helping his patients achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles that will last a lifetime.
